Information on Legal Warranty
Each product sold by Exponent World to a “consumer” buyer is assisted by a warranty covering defects of conformity that occur within 24 months from the date of delivery of the good.
The Legal Guarantee is only valid for the consumer, ie for those who purchase products for non-professional purposes.
Is the warranty on the sale of consumer goods as provided by the Community Directive 1999/44 / EC, also referred to as a “guarantee of conformity”, which protects you if the products you purchase have defects of compliance with the sales contract (“Legal warranty”).
This is, for example, in the case of malfunctioning products that cannot be used in the manner declared by the seller or for purposes that are generally used for products of the same type that do not have the characteristics or qualities promised by the seller.
Duration of Legal Guarantee
The Legal Warranty covers any defects of conformity that occur within 24 months of the date of delivery of the product you purchased, although at that date the defect was not immediately apparent. To claim it you must notify the seller the presence of the defect within 2 months after you discovered it.
Unless otherwise proven, it is assumed that defects of conformity that occur within the first 6 months of the date of delivery of the good existed at that date unless such a hypothesis is incompatible with the nature of the good or the nature of the default compliance.
We recommend that you always keep the purchase receipt found in the product packaging, as well as the delivery and delivery confirmation documents.
Legal Warranty Rights
If the product you have purchased has a defect covered by the Legal Warranty, you are entitled, without having to bear any costs, to have the good repaired or replaced by the seller. You are entitled to a reduction of the price or termination of the contract in the following cases: (a) if the replacement or repair of the product is not possible or is excessively expensive; (B) if the seller has neither repaired nor substituted the product for a reasonable period of time; Or (c) whether the replacement or repair of the product has caused you major disadvantages. To determine the amount of the price reduction or the amount you are entitled to in these cases, account is taken of the use you have made of the product. Please note that a slight defect for which it was not possible or was excessively expensive to remedy repair or replacement remedies does not entitle the contract to be terminated.

Please note that in case of replacement, we will provide you with the replacement product within a reasonable time and you will be required to return the non-conforming product within 30 days of receipt of our Submission Notice.
